Happy Halloween 2007

True, most of the biggest Halloween parties were last weekend, but today is the official holiday in the U.S. I live in a college town, and even though my girlfriend and I have both graduated, we still are included in some of the Halloween party fun on and around the campus. Which means we got to see The Most Popular (or, Over-used) Costume for the second year in a row: The Nurse!



Of course, Most people who dressed up had a decidedly lower neckline than any real nurses we'd ever seen..

Muuuuuch more like it. Of course, a lot of them had skirts so short, you could just about read the label on their panties..



And since their skirts were that short, you pretty much saw their asses hanging out..



Well, that's a good approximation.. of course, it was so damned windy this year - and last, I'm surprised no one lost those tiny little costumes.



Yeah.. um.. like that.. Umm.. just relax a minute, OK, and I'll finish this post..

Now, truth be told, there really *was* a lot of bras and cleavage on display.. and damn short skirts resulting in to-hell-with-visible-panty-lines; there were visible panties. How these people put up with it being as cold and windy as it was, especially last year when it was 20 degrees with a wind chill below zero, I honestly don't know. Did many of the 'nurses' look like Japanese AV Idol Nina Minami? No. Did any skirts or dresses go flying down the street? No. Don't tell her that, though.

Just as well.. about half the people dressed up as nurses were male, anyway (!)

Ms. Theron's latest movie is the now-playing In the Valley of Elah, but her cool-factor really goes up for doing a voice on an episode of Robot Chicken .

As I've said elsewhere on this blog, it's a hobby. I make no money from it, nor do I wish to receive any compensation from it. Why? Aside from wanting it to remain a labor of love and not become a chore, I do not own the copyright to any of the images I use here. It wouldn't be right. I've tried to attribute images to their owners when I can find them, or at least link back to sites that would have some ownership or interest. The pictures may not be mine; the text is. The arrangement is. If someone wants to copy it here and there, again, fine. If you can't come up with your own content and you wish to make money copying the entirety of mine, not so fine.

I'm asking nicely: Please don't do this.
You have no more right to make money off of it than I do: none.

If she's with the road company of 'Singing In The Rain' 1) they may have cast someone who'll almost make us forget about Gene Kelly's original performance, and, 2) I'm waiting for the rain special effect. Then again, she may be practicing pole dancing with her local lamp post before she springs for her own pole. I live a in college town; I've seen a lot at 2 a.m., but for some reason, not her. Her bra and bikini panties are by ëa lingerie (imagine, someone spelling their name in lower-case letters). As their website says 'ëa means mother nature in Nordic mythology, goddess who yields fruits'. Among yielding other points of interest.

Kristen Bell: Gossipy Hero

Kristen Bell of the late, lamented Veronica Mars isn't one for being lazy. In addition to other projects, she has two TV series this Fall. She's already the narrator for The CW's Gossip Girl, and starting this Monday night, she joins NBC's Heroes (what, they don't already have enough people watching that show?) Now the last 10 of the entire Veronica Nation that hadn't watched it will have to tune in or TiVo it. Along with a few million other Kristen Bell fans.

Foxers are a new brand of lingerie and underwear designed to join the ranks of purposely seen- but for girls and women. Forget the dude with his jeans hanging to his hips with his boxers on display to the world; these are for the ladies..




Below the faux boxer waist band, Foxers are cotton bikinis, boy shorts, hipsters and thongs.

Despite the fun the models are trying to get across, I do wonder how many girls would really go for Foxers. They look good, and if they're comfortable, fine; but most of the girls I whose opinions I asked were more or less unimpressed with the idea of purposely showing their panties above their jeans. As my girlfriend put it, 'they're cute, but I'm trying not to show anything now.' Time will tell. Check out their site and decide for yourself.
