Blue (Dress) Monday 1 25 10: Mikie Hara

Does the young lady above (and below) look familiar?



Well, perhaps a few prominent features of her's are familiar to you, if only you could put your finger on them..



..and were you to take that phrase literally, she might slap you into next Blue Monday..



Her name is Mikie Hara, and she's a wildly popular model and actress in her native Japan who's starred in one of the many adaptations of Cutie Honey.



If you haven't caught on yet, the above and below photos in the series might tip you off to where you've seen (parts of) her before..



I'd been looking to update the L ingerie Blog blog banner we'd had for a few years,



and, despite looking at several extremely nice photos from various lingerie brands, something about Ms. Mikie Hara and the bra she was wearing in this photo set struck me as perfect - thus the new banner that appeared a little over a week ago.



While on Blue Monday, usually the featured lingerie is blue ( have I mentioned how much my girlfriend loves blue lingerie?), I think we can count her dress for the purposes of this post - and that white lace bra certainly counts as lingerie. (ps- if you recognize the manufacturer, I wouldn't mind finding this particular bra and panties set for her white or blue..)
